Riss joined HawkPartners in 2024 with consulting experience across both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, primarily in the life sciences sector. She partners with clients to help them understand their target audiences and the opportunities for intervention to drive behavior change, placing importance on visually impactful yet concise deliverables that can be shared across stakeholders. She has also explored the opportunities and current challenges of conducting market research in the metaverse, the results of which were presented at BHBIA in 2023.
Prior to HawkPartners, Riss served as a Manager at Basis Research where she supported clients with marketing challenges across product lifecycles.
Riss graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emory University with degrees in Human Health (BA) and Sociology (BA), also completing a separate concentration in Italian Studies. Before embarking on her career in consulting, Riss was a Fulbright scholar in Vietnam where she taught English and critical thinking to gifted high schoolers and served as an American cultural ambassador for the United States Embassy in Hanoi.
