Two HawkPartners' Team Members – one Millennial and the other a Gen-X'er – share their stories of how they adopted Venmo and use it today. The implication for Marketers: a one-size fits all strategy may fall short.
Mark Rowland works with clients across a range of industries on marketing strategy and communications initiatives. His research and consulting work spans numerous Fortune 500 companies with a focus in pharmaceutical, medical devices, financial services, and professional services. Mark relies on his experience in both quantitative and qualitative techniques to manage a wide variety of research projects, both domestic and global. Mark is particularly interested in emerging digital research techniques—particularly eye-tracking and usability testing—and how these are evolving in the field of market research.
Outside of HawkPartners, Mark is a Captain in the Delaware Army National Guard where he serves as the Company Commander of the 1049th Transportation Company.
When he’s not working, Mark enjoys watching Boston sports—especially the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots. He loves exploring the burgeoning restaurant scene in his adopted home of Washington, DC and is currently pursuing certification as a scuba diving instructor.
Mark received a BA in Political Science with a minor in Chinese Language and Culture from Washington University in St. Louis.
