Rob Klugman

Rob Klugman retired from Molson Coors in 2005 as Global Head of Strategy. Before this, he held a number of senior management positions at Golden, Colorado, based Coors Brewing Company prior to its merger with Molson, including heading up such functions as Marketing; New Products; non-US Operations; and Distributor Networks before spending his last dozen years running the company’s strategic thinking and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to joining Coors, he worked in Research and Client Services at the Chicago advertising agency Leo Burnett.

Since retiring, Rob has been consulting, primarily in the beer business, for Molson Coors and various small brewers and wholesalers. He is a principal at the Los Angeles real estate firm First Beverage Capital.

Rob’s 35 years of experience has given him extensive experience and expertise in such areas as marketing, strategic planning, and new product development as well as line management in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He has served on a number of not-for-profit Boards both regionally and nationally, including the Anti-Defamation League, the Association of National Advertisers, the Denver Botanic Gardens, and the Rose Community Foundation.

Rob is a graduate of Amherst College (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) and the Harvard Business School (Woodrow Wilson Fellow).
