The paid internship with HawkPartners, geared towards juniors and seniors, offers a unique opportunity to build your skills and experience in marketing strategy consulting and market research. Our internship offers hands-on project work for clients in multiple industries, close interaction with the ability to build strong relationships with full-time Partners, and the chance to work in a collaborative, dynamic work environment.

More About Our Internships

Day-to-day intern responsibilities include:

  • Gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing information and research relating to clients, markets, products, and services
  • Conducting secondary research and competitive intelligence
  • Engaging in both qualitative and quantitative primary research
  • Assisting with the development of client reports and presentations, including turning insights into actionable recommendations that inform business decisions
  • Providing support on internal initiatives

Internship Qualifications

While HawkPartners will consider candidates with skills sets and experiences that do not touch on all of the following criteria, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional record of academic achievement, working towards an undergraduate degree from a highly competitive top-tier college or university
  • Strong desktop publishing skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail; strong organizational capabilities; and outstanding communication, speaking, and writing skills

Beyond specific skills, the ideal candidate is a high-energy self-starter with unquestioned personal integrity, commitment to excellence, ability and desire to work in teams, a strong interest in learning, and a willingness to always go the extra step.

Additionally, to be considered for the internship, candidates must:

  • Be able to work full-time (40 hours per week) during typical business hours
  • Not be enrolled in classes or other commitments during the internship that impact ability to work during typical business hours
  • Be located in the US for the duration of the internship

Locations

Our interns can choose when they work in our offices and when they work from home throughout the internship. HawkPartners has a strong preference for candidates that can be located near an office (in the Boston, NYC, Philadelphia, or DC areas) and can come into the office at least one day per week.
