David Bovet

David Bovet is a senior supply chain consultant and practitioner. With Hawk Partners, he helps marry the operational ‘back end’ to the marketing and branding ‘front end’ of growing companies. David brings 40 years of experience leading strategic, structural and operational projects spanning product sourcing, manufacturing and distribution. He supports logistics service providers and investors as well.

David served as Chief Supply Chain Officer for a fast-growing consumer goods brand during the pandemic, doubling shipments. He has developed winning blueprints for supply chains that enable international expansion, effective post-merger combined operations and scalable networks in North America and Europe. A hallmark is segmented, customer-aligned solutions – one size does not fit all.

He was a Managing Director and co-head of supply chain consulting at Oliver Wyman before launching an independent consultancy with friends, New Harbor Consultants, in 2015. David is co-author of Value Nets: Breaking the Supply Chain to Unlock Hidden Profits. He has spoken widely and written about logistics in Harvard Business Review and Supply Chain Management Review.

David received his MBA with highest honors, and an MA in economics, from Stanford. He holds engineering degrees from Webb Institute (currently a Trustee) and George Washington University. He is a dual US and Swiss national.
