Craig Gainsboro is our CFO at HawkPartners with a proven track record in this role with professional services, technology, manufacturing and distribution companies. Prior to HawkPartners, Craig worked as the US CFO for the Tax & Advisory Lines of Service at PricewaterhouseCoopers. There, he managed all financial aspects of those divisions including P&L, strategic financial and organizational planning, revenue initiatives and finance staff development. The Tax & Advisory Lines of Service represented over $2.5 billion and $2 billion in annual revenues and 800 and 250 partners, respectively. In addition, he has raised over $350 million of equity and debt for many companies in various startup stages while also fulfilling the CFO’s traditional role.
Craig brings a complementary set of advisory skills that augment his CFO role. He is adept at streamlining business processes as well as analyzing value and impact across complex organizations. He is talented at not only identifying manually intensive processes, disparate systems and poorly integrated data structures but also providing solutions to fix these inefficiencies. He also recognizes the importance of team building and achieving consensus in order to implement change and is capable of driving major initiatives from planning through tactical execution.
When not at work, Craig can usually be found in the gym or landscaping at his home. When he gets the chance, he also loves to travel.
